Heavyweight (Hallow Brothers Book 3) Page 4

She licked her lips. “Kiss me.”

Henry ran his tongue along her mouth and then dove inside. The devouring kiss, seeing the deep, passionate embrace as Henry massaged her breast in his hand, set Samuel off. He arched his hips up, holding Delilah down on him. Henry laced his fingers with Sam’s, holding her hips as he continued kissing her. Delilah clamped her hands first on theirs, then on Sam’s chest. Henry pinched her nipple between his fingers as he feasted on the curve of her neck. With his free hand, he traced Sam’s mouth with his fingertips. Sam roared as his rush was violent. He came harder than the last time. Delilah’s caresses turned into claws as she groped each of them as she peaked. Henry whimpered and cursed as he joined both of them.

“Sleep,” Delilah pleaded as she collapsed on Samuel’s damp chest.

Henry pressed against her back as he pulled free of her and laid down beside Samuel. Delilah lifted off Samuel and tumbled between them. Henry wrapped his arm around them. Samuel gently kissed Delilah. Then he sat up and leaned over her to part Henry’s mouth in a deep, possessive kiss.

“So fucking hot,” Delilah mumbled before drifting off to sleep.

Sam settled back against the pillow and tangled them in his embrace. Henry’s snore was the last thing he heard before he fell asleep.

The morning sunlight warmed the sheets and comforter of Henry’s king-size bed. Despite the size of the large mattress, those sleeping on it were cuddled in the middle. Delilah was cradled between her lovers with her small body tucked tight between their larger ones. Samuel and Henry knotted their arms and legs around each other the best they could with her in the middle.

Samuel opened his eyes and took in the scene. He smiled, content. There was nothing more beautiful in the world than watching these two sleep. He had been in threesomes before. It had always been him and two women. None of them had been like this. He didn’t understand why, but Henry and Delilah made him feel whole.

He brushed an auburn curl from her shoulder and kissed the flesh where it had been. As he lifted his head, his lips were taken captive.

Henry gave him a smug grin. “Good morning, hot stuff. Sleep well?”

Samuel yawned. “Like a baby. You?”

“Slept sound with two rock-hard cocks pressed against me,” Delilah answered in a sing-song voice. “Best way to fall asleep and wake up.”

Henry laughed as he kissed her neck. “Good morning, beautiful.” He frowned and then reared back a bit. “Did you get this while I was at work? Why didn’t I notice it last night?”

Delilah sat up a little and looked over her shoulder. “Get what? I didn’t get anything.”

“This tattoo. It covers half your back.”

Samuel’s stomach flipped as his heart lodged in his throat. Tattoo? He only knew this woman for a few moments before they started screwing each other’s brains out. It couldn’t be what he thought. She couldn’t be…

Delilah scrambled out of bed toward Henry’s full-length mirror hanging on the wall. Sam blew out a staggered breath when he saw it. A floral, tribal print covered her back from shoulder to waist and rib to spine. A set of claw marks were embedded in the center.

She turned her back to the mirror. Her eyes grew wide as she stared at it. “What the world is that? Which one of you guys drew this on me?”

Henry laughed. “You know my drawing skills, mon amour. It wasn’t me.”

Samuel gazed at Henry. He couldn’t deny the magnetic attraction he felt for Delilah. It was obvious why he felt that way. But there was an indescribable connection to Henry also. Maybe it was because he loved him so much. Samuel sighed. He knew this day was going to come. How would he say goodbye to the man he loved? Could he tell Henry goodbye? Not without crumbling into a million pieces.

  “Sam?”

His attention snapped back to Delilah. Her glare chilled him and aroused him all at the same time. Eternity with her is going to be interesting. “Yeah?”

“Did you draw this on me?”

  “My art skills suck.”

“One of you two needs to fess up.”

Henry tossed the covers off and climbed out of bed. “I’ll get a soapy washcloth so you can clean it off. Then you can spend the morning punishing us.”

Delilah grinned. “I like the sound of that.”

It was then that Sam saw it. Henry turned away from him as he swung his legs over the edge of the bed. The same tattoo that appeared on Delilah was etched into Henry’s skin also. Samuel couldn’t swallow. He couldn’t breathe. Did he somehow facilitate the two of them in mating? Because there was no way that all three of them could be. It wasn’t possible. Was it?

While the other two weren’t looking, he grabbed at his shoulder, straining to see anything. He could feel his fingernails tear at his flesh as he struggled. He caught sight of a faint hint of black, one he knew didn’t belong to any other of his tattoos.

He slumped against the headboard, stunned. He was mated. In a wild, mind-blowing, bone-shattering threesome, he was mated.

And he wasn’t mated to one person but two. He, Samuel Hallow, had two mates.

How was he going to explain this to his family?

“Henry, wait,” he heard Delilah call. Samuel looked up to find Henry gone and Delilah still at the mirror.

Henry popped his head back in from the hallway. “What?”

  “Turn around,” she ordered.

He huffed as he turned his back to her. He took his time. He didn’t know what to expect from his new lover. Samuel couldn’t stop himself from admiring Henry’s and Delilah’s asses. His erection grew insanely painful. He gripped a hand around himself and stroked, hoping it would help. It didn’t.

“There. I know I’ve got a great ass,” Henry told her.

“You have one too,” she replied.

  “I just said that.”

“Not a great ass. I mean, you do. But you have a drawing on your back too. It’s the same as mine.”

Both of them turned and glared at Sam. He felt his entire body flush hot. It didn’t stop his hand from stroking himself. In fact, he sped up the pace.

“There’s the guilty party, jacking himself off,” Henry remarked with a chuckle. “I’ll get the washcloth.”

Delilah watched Samuel for several long moments. She kneeled on the bed, crawled across the mattress to Samuel, and tugged his hand away. She licked a drop of precum from the tip.

Samuel swept the curls from her face and held them back. His voice broke. “Beautiful, don’t. Please.”

  She smiled. “Why not?”

  “You’re going to hate me.”

“Sam, it’s just ink. For fuck’s sake, it’s fine.” She wrapped her lips around his cock and began to suck. He groaned as he watched her, her head bobbing, her ass in the air. He felt his groin tighten. He about came in his hand earlier. This wasn’t going to take long.

He lifted his gaze to find Henry in the doorway watching them with his hand wrapped tight around himself. Watching her blow him must have been a siren song for Henry. He crossed across the room and kneeled behind her. Sam couldn’t see exactly what he was doing, but the way her long eyelashes fluttered as her eyes closed told him she liked it.

The vibrations of her moan tipped Sam over the edge. He held her head tight as he bucked his hips. Henry drove deep against her ass. Delilah trembled as she sucked harder. Samuel roared as he released. Delilah let him go to whimper out her own orgasm. Henry grunted and then stiffened, gripping her tight to him.

He chuckled as he pulled away from Delilah. “Now that we’ve all had a morning quickie let’s clean you up.”

She collapsed on the bed between Samuel’s legs. Henry kneeled next to her limp body and carefully wiped at the mark. Frowning, he scrubbed harder. Samuel’s belly churned. “Dee, it’s not coming off.”

She looked up at Samuel. “What shit did you put on me?”

Henry laid a hand on the small of her back and peered closer. “I don’t think it’
s drawn on. Dee, it’s a tattoo. You have a tattoo. Wait, we have a tattoo.”

She pushed herself up and sat between them. She was shaking. “I’m not stupid. Something like this would take hours. Multiple sittings. I held my colleague’s hand when he got one in Montreal. No human put this on us. What fucking curse did we get into?”

Henry swallowed hard. “You’re the archaeologist. Not me. You know all the religious voodoo. I’m just a librarian.”

Sam took a deep breath. “It’s not a curse per se.”

Both of them stared. Sam pressed himself against the headboard. At this point, he hoped it would swallow him whole. “What do you mean it’s not a curse?” Delilah demanded.

  “It’s not religion. It’s species.”

  “Come again?”

Sam carefully freed his leg from them and stood. He took another deep breath to steady his rampaging heart before he turned his back to them. He noticed the curtains of the bedroom were wide open. He faced the street in all his naked glory. However, he couldn’t move a muscle until someone spoke.

“What the hell is this shit?” Delilah nearly screamed.

Samuel felt fingers trace the design. Henry’s voice was husky. “On you, it’s so hot. So sexy.”

“It’s pretty fucking sexy on you too,” Sam replied, his voice low and dangerous.

“Henry.” Delilah’s voice was shrill. “Both of you stop it. I need to know what is happening to me.”

Sam turned toward them. “Get dressed.”

  Delilah shook her head. “Why?”

Samuel leaned down and kissed her. Her erratic little body calmed at his touch. Then he softly, deeply kissed Henry. When they broke apart, he met his boyfriend’s gaze. “You have asked me over and over. You finally get your wish. Dress. We’re going to go see my family.”

Samuel paced outside his truck, his boots clicking on the pavement. He had a short supply of patience. The anxiety fueled by what had just happened upstairs set him on edge. He was about to snap.

He shook his head. He had no idea how he was going to explain this to his family. It was confusing enough that he was showing up at home with two mates. It would be easier if they were both women. But Henry? His mother and brothers probably wouldn’t be on board with the fact that he liked having sex with guys as much as he did with women. They definitely weren’t going to condone the fact that he was madly in love with Henry.

He stopped pacing and turned when he heard the front door open. Delilah swept down the porch steps dressed in a white silk blouse and a perfectly pressed pair of black slacks. Her curls were held back in a comb. Samuel grinned as she strode down the sidewalk to his truck.

“My, my, my,” he commented. “You look beautiful. I didn’t expect you to come out looking so fancy.”

She glared. “Fancy? This is what I normally wear unless I’m on a dig.”

“That’s what you normally wear? Seems uncomfortable to be dressed up all lady-like.”

“I have a Ph.D. in archeology. My finds are displayed in the most prestigious museums in the world. Guess you’ve never been with a lady of my caliber before.”

Samuel chuckled as he pulled her to him. He felt her shudder at his touch. He pressed his lips to her ear. “Delilah, I fucked you last night. The things you did? Not exactly my definition of a lady.” He pulled away enough to see the look of shock in her eyes before he continued. “Where’s Henry?”

Delilah swallowed hard before she spoke. “He’s coming. He knows he’s meeting your mother, so he’s changed three times already. He wants to impress her.” Her voice grew quiet. “I hope you realize how much he loves you.”

Samuel sighed. “I do. I hope he knows how much I love him too.”

The smile she gave him seemed forced onto her face. “I think he does.”

“Is there a problem with me loving him?”

“No. He’s a lucky guy. You are too.”

Samuel opened his mouth to say something but shut it when the door opened again. Henry slammed it closed and hurried to lock it. Samuel took the man in with a satisfied smile. Instead of his customary polos and khaki pants he wore for work, he wore a skin-tight T-shirt and blue jeans. Both were snug enough to accentuate his chiseled muscles. His glasses only added sexiness to the ensemble. His hair was combed neatly to one side. Samuel knew Henry didn’t do anything more than run his fingers through the waves. It still fell into place and looked like he spent hours on it. It was almost magical and made the librarian look utterly sinful.

Henry jammed the keys in his pocket and then hopped down the stairs. He jogged to Samuel and Delilah next to the truck. “Ready to go.”

  “You look amazing,” Sam remarked.

Henry’s cheeks flamed pink. Delilah shook her head and sighed. “Maybe I better stay here. You two lovebirds go. It’s getting sickening.”

Samuel frowned. Was Delilah jealous? It didn’t matter if she was or not. She belonged to both of them for eternity. She didn’t know it yet. He was going to have a chat with Caleb and Micah. He was going to need some guidance with this mess.

He stared at the redhead. Could he love her? He couldn’t deny her spitfire attitude made him hard. But could he share the same feeling for her that he had for Henry? He didn’t know if it could be possible.

Samuel wrapped her in his arms and kissed her long and deep, his tongue slipping between her lips to play with hers. He felt her body melt against his. When he let her go, she staggered back a few steps.

“Come on,” Samuel ordered. “We don’t have all day.”

He strode to the driver’s side of the truck and climbed inside. Henry offered his hand to Delilah to help her in. Once her ass hit the seat, Henry parted her legs to slip between them. The kiss they shared made Samuel painfully aroused. He slipped his thumb into the waist of his jeans to shift the material away from his erection.

Delilah scooted across the seat next to Samuel. He wrapped his large hand around her thigh. Henry took his place beside her and did the same as Samuel. Delilah let go a trembling sigh.

“You okay?” Sam asked with a grin.

“I’m fucking fantastic,” Delilah muttered. “Go.”

Samuel and Henry roared with laughter as Sam shifted the truck into gear. Delilah elbowed them both before the truck lurched forward and flew down the street.

  Chapter Four

The city of Duluth faded into farmland as the truck sped north along the highway. Samuel’s thoughts scrambled as he forced himself to focus on the road. His family was going to freak out when they arrived. They didn’t react well when they found out Caleb and Micah had mated. When Samuel showed up with not one but two mates? His mother was going to have a coronary.

But that wasn’t his only concern. What about Henry and Delilah? Henry loved his books. Delilah told him she was a renowned archeologist. Could they adjust to his life? Would they accept what he truly was? He shook his head. It was all too much to figure out.

  “Sam?” Henry asked softly.

  “Yeah?”

“Where the hell are we going?”

“I told you that I lived out of town.” He looked ahead. He could see Sharky’s Garage along the side of the road. The thick ridge of woods loomed in the distance.

“How far out of town?” Delilah asked. There was hesitation in her voice.

“You’re going to want to hang on, sweetheart.”

Before she could respond, he sped up the thin lane that led into the forest. The truck shuddered as it climbed up the rut-covered road. Branches scraped deep along the sides. This trip didn’t bother Samuel. He had taken this route thousands of times. But by the gasps and groans coming from the other side of the truck, Henry and Delilah weren’t so confident.

Delilah gripped the hands that never left her thighs. “Where the fuck are you taking us?”

“You travel the world, but you’re afraid of a little drive in the woods?” Sam countered.

Her icy glare changed his tune. H
e continued. “We’re almost there. You won’t die.”

Sunlight broke through the thick trees. A moment later, the clearing appeared. Sam slowed and maneuvered the vehicle to a stop next to the other cars. He climbed out and started across the camp toward his cabin.

  “Who are your friends, Sam?”

Sam stopped dead in his tracks at his older brother’s voice. Josiah leaned against the rail of the deck leading to the Family Building. Samuel glanced back at Henry and Delilah following him. They clung to each other as they took in the buildings and surrounding forest. It was obvious that being in such a rustic setting deep in the woods was a shock to their systems.

Josiah continued. “Do me a favor. Take your shirt off.”

  Samuel snarled. “Fuck you.”

Josiah shook his head. “For fuck sakes, Sam. You don’t have to cry about it. It’s not new. Mike and Cay have already been marked. So take the fucking shirt off.”

Samuel growled as he grabbed the hem of his T-shirt and tugged it off over his head. The warm sunlight kissed his skin as he turned his back to his brother. “Happy?”

“Nice. It looks nice. I’m guessing the hot redhead has one too?”

Sam turned back to face him again. “No shit, Sherlock.”

“Calm down, bro. But Sam, we’ve talked. No one is allowed up here. The more people from the outside world that we bring up here increases our chance of being discovered for who we really are.” Josiah pointed at Henry. “He can’t be here.”

Samuel took a deep breath and looked back at Henry. The aggravated tone he had used with his brother suddenly disappeared. His words were soothing. “Henry, take off your shirt and turn around.”

“Sam, I don't understand why I need to do that,” Henry protested.

Samuel sighed. “Please, baby. Just do it.”

“Baby?” Josiah’s voice echoed through the clearing.

Samuel watched Henry’s gaze dart from Josiah to Samuel. He slowly let go of Delilah, stripped his shirt off, and spun around until his back faced the brothers. Samuel couldn’t breathe as he took in the intricate design etched into Henry’s skin.
